How to Book a Class On Our Website

Ready to book a class online? Here are some basic step by step instructions to guide you in the booking process. If you have any problems or have questions you can email the studio directly at inkandycence@gmail.com.


Some things to keep in mind, you have to book a class at least 24 hours in advance and you cannot book a class more than 30 days in advance. So the calendar will only present options that fit within those time guidelines.


Here we go:


1. Visit our class menu at https://www.inkandycence.com/book-online


2. Start with a class category like “Getting Started” for beginners or “Youth Starters” for students ages 8-12 years.


3. Find your desired class and click “Book Now”.




4. The Screen will show you the next available dates, by placing dots placed under the normal business days of the studio. If the dot is colored (yellow on most screens) that means the date is available for booking. If the dot is gray (or muted) that means the date is no longer or not currently available for booking.


5. To explore available times for a particular open date, click on that date. Once you click on a particular date, available times for that class will appear to the right of the calendar (desktop) or just below the calendar (mobile). You can explore all available times in this way just by moving the dates forward and backwards. Keep in mind that dates change from day to day as the 30 day booking window moves forward in time. Available times will also change depending on what other classes and appointments are being booked by other studio patrons. So it is a good idea to start your search with a few options in case your first choice is taken.


6. Once you have selected an available time and date that works for you, press “Next”.


7. You will be taken to a “Booking Detail” page, where it will ask you for your name and address information. Please be sure to add a correct email address as the studio will contact you the first time you book via email. We are old school like that.


Now at this point if you have a profile or pricing plan with the studio you can “Log In”. The link to Log in should be above or near the “Name Field”. If you have forgotten your password or need to reset your password, you can click on “Log In” and follow the prompts under “Forgot Password”. In either case by logging in the site will automatically fill in your name and contact info.


8. Once your name and contact info is in place, at the bottom of the “Booking Details” Page it will ask how you want to pay.

a) If you have a Pricing plan and have logged in it should offer to apply the plan attached to the email you entered.


b) If you do not have a Pricing plan it will give you the option to buy a plan or pay for the individual session.


To buy a plan, highlight “Buy A Plan” and follow the prompts to purchase the desired plan. Keep in mind that once you buy a plan you still need to book the class. Make sure you get class confirmation. If you don't get a booking confirmation and need help, email the studio.


To pay for a single session, highlight “Pay for this session”and hit “Book Now”. You will be directed to a payment page where you can choose how you want to pay from available options.


9. Once you submit a single session or plan payment you should get a booking confirmation, stating your class is reserved. If you don't get a confirmation check to make sure your payment was processed. A returned or declined payment would be the likely reason a booking doesn’t confirm. Check card numbers and verifying info. It is easy to transpose numbers and expiration dates. If you continue to experience difficulties, please contact the studio, and we will attempt to assist you.


10. Now you should be booked for your next class! The studio is notified when a student signs up so we try to send a direct message the first time you sign up for class, just to reassure you we are expecting you and giving a little info about our location and how to contact the instructor.


If you are a returning and or recurring student we will often text or email the day of the class just to confirm we are expecting you, but not always, so just make sure you have your confirmation and you are all set to come.




A few more things to consider:

If you like to book in advance just keep in mind our cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policy. In short, once you book a class there are no refunds. Cancellation and rescheduling requires 24 hour notice. Canceling without 24 hours notice, means you forfeit rescheduling options, as per policy the studio is not required to offer you rescheduling options. Regardless of timing, contacting us as soon as you can is recommended and appreciated.


Therefore the studio advises booking classes with some forethought and consideration. Only book for sessions you plan to attend, because once you book a time, it is yours. The studio does not double book except in cases where a scheduled student is bringing a guest.
