Service Description
Now that you know how to use a sewing machine, there are some other basic skills and knowledge you should learn to make your sewing journey a successful one. These include: How to pin your projects Identifying the right and wrong sides of fabric Knowing the "Grain of the fabric" Knowing when to use Pins vs Weights Knowing when to use Scissors vs the Rotary cutter How to use tailor's chalk When to prewash a fabric We will also go over the top 10 sewing tools, where to find them, and how to use them Skill Level: New Beginner - Should know how to operate sewing machine, including threading the machine, winding the bobbin, and pushing the foot pedal. Our “Introduction to the Sewing Machine” Class is strongly recommended. Class Fee: Price includes the class and use of sewing machine and related tools. Student provides all of the required project supplies. A supply list if needed will be provided once you sign up for the class. Class Length: Class is 90 mins per session.
