Service Description

This is a basic face mask with front mouth and nose covering and extended sides for full face coverage. Ear bands can be made from elastic or ribbon. Great for building experience on a sewing machine these masks give new beginners a chance to explore straight and slightly curved seams, with a quick, easy, and even useful project. -practice laying out and cutting patterns -learn the best way to attach and secure elastic -learn tips and tricks for scaling up production to make multiple masks at one time Skill Level: New Beginner - Should know how to operate sewing machine, including threading the machine, winding the bobbin, and pushing the foot pedal. Our “Introduction to the Sewing Machine” Class is strongly recommended. Class Fee: Price includes the class and use of sewing machine and related tools. Student provides all of the required project supplies. A supply list will be provided once you sign up for the class. Class Length: Class is 90 mins per session. More than one session may be required to finish this project. How many sessions are needed depends largely on the skill and speed of the student(s).
