Emerging Designers Summer Sewing Camp

Service Description

This course is for young sewists ages 13- 19. This is one week of morning sessions, beginning Monday June 3, 2024, 8 am - 12 noon, immersed in sewing and creating stylish beginner wardrobe projects, with a final presentation after class on Friday June 7, 2024, 12:30pm - 1:30pm. ​Machines, tools, and most supplies provided during class. Students will learn/ practice/ gain experience with: -The three main processes for clothing construction -Sewing  and Finishing Seams -Creating machine automatic buttonholes -Sewing on buttons -Introduction to basic handbag hardware -Introduction to using and reading home sewing patterns And more… $300 Course price includes a $100 non refundable materials deposit and $200 class fee. If a student cancels with 7 days notice or more they can request a refund for the $200 class fee. If a student cancels with less than 7 days notice, they are are no longer eligible for refund. Cancellation Policy

To cancel, Students must notify studio at least 7 days prior to the start of the camp to be eligible for a refund of $200 Class Fee. The $100 materials fee is non refundable, Cancellations requested with less than 7 days notice, are not eligible for any refund
