Are you ready to make the Puppy Placemat?
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to sign up for the class by visiting: www.inkandycence.com/book-online and selecting this class from the class menu (found under Youth Sewing category).
For this particular project I recommend using Fat Quarters. They are inexpensive and come in a lot of fun prints and colors. However if you want to buy fabric off the bolt I have provided yardage measurements for that as well.
The following is a list of supplies you will need to bring to complete the project for this class:
1 fat quarter- 18 x 21 inches ( or 1/2 yd) of fabric for top of placemat
1 fat quarter- 18 x 21 inches ( or 1/2 yd) of fabric for back of placemat
1 fat quarter- 18 x 21 inches ( or 1/4 yd of fabric for bowl circles
1 pc of felt- 18 x 21 inches ( or 1/2 yd ) of felt on the bolt- *you buy a 1 yd piece and use remaining felt in other projects
1 small spool of coordinating thread
Once the puppy placemat is done you can make several more in different colors and prints to hold pet food for your cat, your rabbit, and other household pets.
